Our mission is to champion human rights and mental health by advocating for dignity, equality, and well-being for all. We strive to break the stigma surrounding mental health, ensure access to quality care, and empower individuals through education, support, and policy reform. By fostering a just and inclusive society, we work to protect fundamental rights and promote holistic well-being for every person.

Vision:

We envision a world where human rights are universally upheld, and mental health is prioritized as an essential part of human dignity. A society where everyone has access to mental health resources, lives free from discrimination, and enjoys equal opportunities to thrive in a compassionate and just world.

The objectives of the Organization are:

Awareness and Education

Promote human rights issues affecting People of African descent at the societal and structural levels.

Reduce stigma associated with mental health through community outreach and education programs.

Collaborate with educational institutions to incorporate mental health education in curricula.

Support marginalized groups, including but not limited to individuals with disabilities, ethnic minorities, women, children, refugees, among others.

To raise awareness on issues of social exclusion and advocate for equality, equity, and justice.

Service Provision

Provide accessible mental health services, including counseling, therapy, and support groups, particularly in underserved areas.

Establish mental health resource centers across  that offer information, referrals, and direct services.

To offer crisis intervention and suicide prevention services.

Promote social inclusion by advocating for equitable access to education, employment, healthcare, and housing.

Advocacy and Policy Engagement

Advocate for the integration of mental health into primary health care.

Engage with government bodies to influence policy, legislation, and funding that supports mental health.

Advocate for the rights of individuals with mental health conditions.

Research and Development

Conduct and promote research on mental health issues.

Collaborate with local and international researchers to improve mental health services and policies.

Capacity Building

Train mental health professionals and community health workers.

Provide support and training for families and caregivers of individuals with mental health conditions.

Foster civic participation by empowering underrepresented groups to engage in decision-making processes at local, regional, and national levels.

Provide capacity-building programs, training, and social services that empower vulnerable communities.

Collaboration and Networking

Establish partnerships with local, regional, and international organizations working in mental health.

Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector entities to enhance mental health services.

Work with governments, civil society organizations, and international bodies to influence policies that promote social inclusion and equality.
